This is a rare one, a 2022 Automatic Ford Transit Custom 340 Fox Limited Plug-in Hybrid with 1 owner from new, and it’s genuinely lovely to drive.

Quiet around town, smooth away from the lights, and a lot more relaxed than you would expect from a Transit Custom. The electric side gives it a very different feel to the usual diesel.

But for shorter journeys, local calls, site visits or just using a van without listening to a diesel engine all day, it’s a really interesting thing.

And because it’s petrol-electric, there’s no diesel DPF to clog up on lots of short trips.

It’s rare, very well equipped, economical in the right use, in the right colour and frankly just a bit more fun than the average Transit Custom.
